Privacy
This page explains what we do with your personal data when you visit this site or place an order. We are the data controller for that information under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number if you give one, and the details of what you bought.
- Payment: card details go directly to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you browse: standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you looked at.
- If you subscribe: your email address, and nothing else.
We do not ask for, and do not want, any information about your health or your sex life. Please do not send us medical details.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To take payment, pack your order and get it to you — because we need to in order to perform our contract with you.
- To answer your emails and handle returns — contract, and our legitimate interest in running a shop people can talk to.
- To keep accounting and tax records — because the law requires it.
- To send restock notices — only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To keep the site working and prevent fraud — our legitimate interest.
Who else sees it
Only the organisations that make the shop function: our ecommerce platform, our payment processor, the carrier that delivers your parcel, and our email provider. Each handles your data on our instructions. We never sell your data, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.
Discretion
Parcels carry no product names or branding on the outside, and the sender name and the descriptor on your card statement are both simply Lovetwoo. Your order history is visible to you in your account and to us, and to nobody else.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the basket and the checkout to work, plus analytics cookies that help us see which pages people use. You can refuse non-essential cookies and clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Contact us through the contact page and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Age
This site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from under-18s.
